Let’s Move Nation was squarely in the spotlight as visitors to the AOL homepage saw the organization featured prominently on the website. One of the major online digital content providers, AOL.com’s homepage hub averages 8,000,000 visitors a day, and they’ve chosen Let’s Move Nation to be one of its featured non-profits this month. The ran on Thursday, January 8th. An initiative sponsored by FAME Corporations, Let’s Move! is a supportive partner of First Lady Michelle Obama’s nationwide campaign to fight childhood obesity and raise healthier children nationwide.

The advertisement features a photo of FirstLady Michelle Obama with the Executive Director of Let’s Move Nation Denise Hunter and encourages visitors to click through to an informative article about keeping New Year’s fitness resolutions. “We are thrilled to be highlighted by AOL,” said Denise Hunter. “We applaud AOL’s commitment to social responsibility and we welcome the AOL community to partner with us in promoting healthy eating and physical activity in the fight against childhood obesity.”

More than 600 non-profits have been supported through AOL’s corporate social responsibility program which includes featured placements on the AOL.com page and through its employee volunteer program.
